Models include an option with battery, 2500502 and model without battery, 2501302. Compatible battery and charger models include, 29462, 29472 and 29482. Not compatible with previous 40V batteries, models 29302, 29282 and 29292. Compatible replacement mower blade model 29373.

I had no trouble inserting or removing the battery as others have complained about.     More trouble than it’s worth I bought this mower because of the good reviews. My experience was different. The assembly is minimal but I found the handle difficult because the instructions lacked details. It is lightweight and easy to get out of the box but It felt like a toy when mowing. The cut was rough and each row had to be done again. It may be 19 inches wide but the cutting path is narrow – about 12 inches requiring a significant overlap.     My gas mower broke and while it was being fixed I decided that I needed a backup mower. I already had several 40V Greenworks tools, and I did not want to put a lot of money in to this.
