    Certainly among the better loppers I’ve bought I’m not a landscaping pro. I’m a disabled senior with an overgrown yard in Southern Mississippi, where Nature is always putting up her best efforts to reclaim our yard into the woods. That means lots of volunteers and suckers, both with and without thorns, from brush to vines.     Broke during first use These broke the FIRST use. On the fourth cut, the handle snapped from the blade. Wasn’t even cutting something big. It was a tree branch that was maybe an inch in diameter if that. Purchased these because of good brand and reviews. Makes me wonder if it was a manufacturing defect. Where it snapped, the edge showed a dark spot…as if there was an air bubble or something when pouring the in the mold (just a guess…haven’t researched how these are made). Will add photos of the break later…
