The string trimmer’s 2-in-1 flip to edge feature easily converts from trimmer to edger and the adjustable height and pivoting handle positions provide maximum comfort and control. It’s ideal for trimming areas of overgrowth after mowing and edging along borders, sidewalks and flower beds.

The LST300 comes with one 2.0 amp-hour lithium-ion battery (model LBXR2020), which offers 33 percent more runtime per battery pack than the previous LBXR20 pack.

    Seriously flawed trimmer I purchased one of these to replace my older model B&D string trimmer with the old batteries. I’ve been using mine for a couple of years, but since they’re no longer make it at some point the batteries will wear out. I’ve had to repair the center pole and the new ones use metal instead of plastic which is an improvement, so I decided to replace it with a newer model. I do a lot of trimming and will often use mine repeatedly throughout the day and recharge the batteries for another round. I…

    I’m really happy I purchased the LST 400 for the extended life battery. The difference in cost is in the battery and it is worth it, unless you are using it for a small area. The 2 amp hour battery that comes with this costs $42 and the 4 amp hour battery that comes with the LST 400 costs $66.Amazon’s prices vary a lot. When I purchased mine, the price difference was only ten dollars. It’s twenty today. Still, I would advise spending the difference if you are going to use this trimmer for a large area. In a small garden, this would be perfect.This…
