    you’ll be set (chain oil is easy enough to find) Electric, battery powered chainsaw means that you don’t get a whole lot of runtime per charge, but I’ve purchased a bunch of Ryobi one+ tools and have a few backup batteries to help. I’ve put the chainsaw to use already and it had enough juice to take down a 7 foot tall bush with about a 12 inch diameter grouping of smaller 1-4 inch trunk pieces. It was about as I expected for an electric chainsaw. It doesn’t come with a battery or chain oil, but if you already have other Ryobi one+ tools that…

    Handy Helper If you have medium-growth trees in your yard or heavy shrubs, this is the best tool you will ever pick up. It’s not for felling timber, but rather for lopping off that offending branch that keeps hitting you in the head while mowing. Since it is a Ryobi, I always have a charged LiIon around. No getting the right gas-oil mix and hoping it will start. Plug in the battery and pull the trigger. Plenty of power for up to 6″ so far, hard or soft woods. Well balanced even with the big P-122…
