    A great rough cut blade. These blades performed very well for the job for which they were used. We used them to cut small trees and to clear brush and they work much better than the double purpose wood/nail blades do. They stay much sharper much longer and do not break as easily as other blades. The length also allows you to cut larger trees and even logs and firewood. Just as a tip, we have found that if you are cutting green wood with a lot of sap and resin, it really helps to spray your blade with silicone…

    Excellent Tool for Your Pruning Toolbox I am using these blades with a Makita 18 volt cordless reciprocating saw, and I love them for cutting high, awkward branches that are a bit too big to reasonably do with my Silky hand pruning saw, yet too near to other branches that I wish to keep to bring a gas chainsaw to bear.
