    Beware – NOT usable with older LXT tools. I know what the problem is, but I do not know the why?I have a LXT “kit” that has all the drills, drivers, saws and lights.That kit came with 3.0 batteries.Recently I bought the LXT 1/2″ impact tool and I bought this BL1840B 4.0 battery to add to my collection.The 4.0 battery will only fit on the new 1/2″ impact tool.The 4.0 battery will not fit on any of my older 18,0 volt tools.The difference between the 3.0 and the 4.0 batteries is that…

    Good charger Got a Makita Drill motor for Christmas from my son, he didn’t know that they didn’t come with a battery pack and charger.but I do like this new charger and battery pack and it is top of the line though a bit pricey. What I like most about it is that it will charge the battery pack from about no operating charge to full charge in about 20 minutes and the working charge lasts a good long time. I have to admit, the working charge lasts longer than many other brands by a good amount…
