The 14″ .043 gauge bar and chain is suitable for medium to heavy duty applications. Compatible batteries currently include a 2Ah (model 29462) and 4Ah (model 29472) battery and charger (model 29482). The 2Ah battery charges within 1 hour, so you can get back to work and finish the job. The 4Ah battery charges within 2 hours.

    Trail & Home I got this saw primarily for trail maintenance, but I’ll use it around the house as well. I have a Husqvarna 435, which is the closest equivalent gas chainsaw to this GreenWorks. Both have 16″ bars and weigh about the same.     Finally….a real cordless chainsaw. I have only used this saw for one day….but I used it all day. I own two gas saws, a Husqavarna Rancher 460, and a Poulan Pro 16″ saw.     So close to perfect It is amazingly powerful for a battery powered tool. Very easy to use since you don’t have to get a gas engine to start or stay running. Can cut really large trunks. So why only 3 stars? It leaks bar oil everywhere. Says in the manual that this might happen, but it is way worse than just a little annoyance. If you store it with oil in the reservoir, which isn’t recommended, it will leak all of the oil out. The position it is stored in doesn’t matter either. I carried mine in a backpack to get…
