    Good to go for 12A outdoor usuage. As an Electrical Engineer let clear up some misconcptions.1.  All ratings are very conservative, as they were tested based on the worse conditions anyone would expect to occur and then some.2.  Current (Amps) limitations are to prevent fire, due to heat build up.  Dissapating heat is a major concern, hence all the vents you see and fans you hear in your PCs and other devices.With that said a cable laying on the ground, outside, and not coiled up, is going to…
